My 2018 Price Guide.
27th June 2017 - I now shoot weddings on a budget. Click the link below to be taken to a separate, new website all about my wedding photography.
Please note, this guide will not affect any pre existing arrangements I may have with my regular collaborators. It will apply to new business.
My 2018 standard shoot rate is just £30 per hour. (Not including studio hire, hair or make up.)
In 2018 I would like to focus on art nude, lingerie/nude, art erotic and erotica. So if this is of interest to you, then I would love to hear from you.
There are some standard conditions I put in place. These terms and conditions will apply to TF shoots as well as paid. TF shoots are not promised, or guaranteed. I reserve the right to not offer TF. I will offer TF to any of my regular collaborators, or if your idea is strong and new, and different, and holds some interest for me.
I'll need you to tell me how long you want to book, how many hours, I'll work out a list of possible dates and send them over to you. Once we have a date, I'd ask for a deposit, just pay for the first hour.
The remainder will be due before we take the first photograph. You can either pay in full when you book, or between now and the shoot date, or on the day of the shoot. I don't mind, whatever is easiest for you.
The deposit secures your booking date, and is not returnable unless I have to cancel the shoot for some reason. If you need to re arrange that's fine, the deposit will carry over, a maximum of 3 date changes, but must be used within 12 months of the first booking date.
We'll shoot as many images as we can in the time we have. You'll get edited low resolution images, which you can use online, social media etc. High resolution images can be made available for private printing purposes only, just ask.
Chaperone’s are welcome, but they must not interfere with the shoot, the concepts, any ideas we discuss and agree, or tamper/fiddle with any equipment. Any damage to my equipment, or to any studio equipment, may be subject to charges to the client.
Even though you are purchasing these images, you are paying for personal use only, and the copyright will remain mine. If you would like to purchase the copyright to an image, or set of images, please contact me for a quote. The paying customer has full right to use these images as they see fit for private and non commercial purposes. Any image that is found to be used for commercial purposes, may subject the client to further charges. If in doubt, please contact me and ask. I might not object and I may even give full permission without any further charges, but please, ask first.
No permission is granted for anyone else to re edit the images, remove the watermark, or alter the images in any way. This includes but is not limited to, things like Instagram filters. I am always happy to re edit an image, and will offer free re edits within 7 days of the images being sent to you. After that, there may be a small fee to re edit images, of £5 per image.
If you require a studio, then please let me know and I'll put together a quote for you. I will never profit from studio charges, what they charge me, is what you would pay. I'll try to find the nearest studio to you if you like, or I can recommend one on your behalf. If you prefer to book it and pay for it directly yourself, that is fine, just ensure you provide me with the full address and contact details for them.
All shoots will include as many images as we can possibly shoot in the time you book. Every hour you book, will get you at least 15 digital images on a disk, or via an online sharing service such as Dropbox, fully processed and looking good. (e.g. 3 hours = 45 digital files) You will receive high resolution versions, in case you wish to have them printed, and low resolution versions, for use on the internet. The low resolution images will be watermarked for our mutual protection. The high resolution images must not be posted online.
If you require any prints, they would come with a small further charge. I will include a release letter for you, so that will not have any difficulties getting images printed. Nice and simple.
No booking is confirmed until both parties put in writing (either e-mail or PM or text) that they accept the shoot, and the price. And then upon receipt of a deposit.
Acceptance of a booking implies you have agreed to my terms and conditions, which are below this note.
Payment can be made any time before the shoot, or at the latest at the start of the shoot. No images will be taken till payment is settled. The only exception to this is for companies/businesses, where I am happy to provide an invoice.
Post processing of images will be turned around as quickly as possible, but will be no longer than 14 days after the shoot. If I choose to include more images either via e-mail or on disc, that is at my discretion, but not guaranteed.
Due to Health and Safety constraints I have to add, a working studio has lots of equipment, wires and props. It is entirely up to the client to maintain control of any visitor while in the studio. If any damage occurs to any studio equipment, this may be chargeable to the client.
Tony Smith Photography will take every precaution to ensure your safety, but will not be responsible for it. Neither will the studio be held accountable for any actions the client carries out which may be dangerous.
You can be provided with 2 sets of images.
High resolution, which are for printing purposes only. These are provided on request.
Low resolution watermarked images, which are for online use only.
In line with UK law, and Distance Selling Regulations (for services), once you have made a booking, you have 7 days to consider the offer, and decline or withdraw from it. Although I require payment in advance of the shoot taking place, I do request that no payment is sent in the first 7 days. Please only send payment after the 7 days cooling off period has passed.
If you have any questions, at any time, then please do not hesitate to contact me, I will do my very best to answer any questions you may have.
